To create a new Text Ad:
- Sign in to Campaign Manager.
- Select the correct account and campaign group where you want to create the Text Ad.
- Note: If you're advertising for the first time, you’ll need to create a new account.
- Click the Create campaign button in the top right of the page.
- Click "Website visits"
- Add your targeted location
- Add Audience attributes. This is where you can target individuals by company, demographics, education, job experience and interests.
- Exclude any criteria. You can exclude locations (only applicable if it's inside your targeted area) or audiences.
- Disable "Enable Audience Expansion". This typically reduces the performance of your campaign.
- Select "Text ad"
- Set a daily budget. We recommend $10 for getting started/ testing.
- Select Bid type. We recommend "Maximum CPC bid"
- For Bid amount, LinkedIn provides recommendations. However, we found you can still get clicks/results by inputting a bid 30% less then the recommended bid. You can increase your bids later if they fail to attract the desired traffic.
- Enter your Conversion tracking (optional), Bid type, Daily budget, Bids, and Campaign start date then click Launch Campaign.
- Save and next.
- Select "Create new ad", enter in Ad headline, Ad description, URL (droplet URL), and upload an image. Typically, female images work best for CTR (recommended by LinkedIn).

- Try duplicates Ads and using different images for testing. You can also create many variations of test (different headlines and descriptions) for optimal performance.
