A detailed overview of the Deals section and how it can help you keep your leads organized.

The deals section can be an excellent tool to keep track of your leads. You can organize them into different columns, create new columns, freely move leads between categories, and maintain access to all the same information presented in the leads section. Below we have a video overview of the section accompanied by an in depth write up. 

Keep Your Leads Organized 

The deals section quickly allows you to sort your leads. To enter your leads into the deals section simply assign a status in the lead or chat section. The lead will then get moved to the deals section under the corresponding column. The statuses are completely customizable, you can edit existing statuses, add in new statuses, or delete old ones. This section is completely customizable to allow the freedom to organize your leads in whatever manner you deem best.

Creating and Editing Status/Columns

To create a new status select add column from the top right of the deals section. You will be prompted to enter a title and select a column position, then simply select "Create" and viola you now have a new status. If you would like to change an existing status simply navigate to the column corresponding to the status you would like to change. Next, select the edit icon located to the right of the of the columns title/status. You will see a modal pop up prompting you to enter a new status with the old one populating the input field. Once you are satisfied with the new column title/status select "Update" to finalize the change. Finally to delete a status/column click the red trash can atop of each column. You can then confirm that you would like to delete the column and the column/status will be deleted. Any leads you have in that column when it gets deleted will be moved back to the leads section. 

Accessing Lead Information and Resources

All information and tools available in the leads section are also available in the deals section. To view a leads information you can click on the leads name or the edit symbol located to the right of the lead. This will load the same info section available in the leads section. The assigned team member and funnel through which the lead came are each located beneath the leads name respectively. Below the funnel/droplet you can see the assigned commission, which can be changed from the info section. You can also turn on/off nurturing from the deals section, the heart to the left of the lead name now represents the nurturing status. You can switch it on or off by clicking the icon. Finally if you would like to move the lead to a new category you can simply drag the lead into a different category and drop it there. To delete a lead click the red trash can Icon to the right of the lead name beneath the edit icon and confirm.
